I am so humbled by you
everyday you show me how to love
how to dance
how to be a human
you show me how to see the other
and you teach me that I am seen too

Your beauty, your courage, your strength, your wisdom
your endless overflowing compassion which you give so deeply
from the depths of your soul
they show me what is possible

and when I whisper this into the back of your head as
we lie entangled together in our linen nest
your hand gently reaches out to my cheek and with
no hesitation you say simply
